2005 Commuter Challenge
What Is The Commuter Challenge

The Commuter Challenge is a friendly competition between Canadian communities to encourage as many people as possible to use sustainable and active modes of transportation. Sponsored locally by the Thames Region Ecological Association (TREA) and the City of London, the Commuter Challenge encourages Londoners to walk, jog, cycle, in-line skate, take the bus, carpool or telework during Environment Week (June 5 - June 11, 2005), then register with TREA the mode of transportation used and the distance travelled. Participants in the Commuter Challenge can win valuable prizes. Click here for a list of prizes. This is a nationwide event sponsored by the Canada Climate Change Action Fund. More info: www.commuterchallenge.ca.

All events are FREE and open to the public unless otherwise noted.

General information: Call TREA at 645-2845 or visit www.trea.ca.
